Privacy and cookies

A clear overview of data associated with visiting this website and arranging services.

1. Who processes your data

The data controller is Mgr. Marek Oliva, business ID 74498100, registered at U Hadovky 598/26, Dejvice, 160 00 Prague 6, Czech Republic, operator of KOLEM BĚHU. Contact me by email, phone or post at this address about privacy or to exercise your rights.

marekoliva@gmail.com · +420 607 099 046

This notice covers website visits, initial enquiries and ordinary data needed to arrange and provide services. It is not consent to process health data.

2. Enquiries and email

The enquiry tool has no server submission or client database. Your service choice and optional text stay in the open page. The website clears them when you close the enquiry window, leave the page or reload it. It does not store enquiries in localStorage or sessionStorage.

“Prepare email” passes the text to your email application. You send the message yourself; your application may keep a draft according to its settings. “Copy text” writes to your device clipboard only after you click it. The website cannot erase your clipboard or email draft when it closes.

Once I receive your message, I process your email address, any name or phone number you provide and the necessary content of the enquiry. Responding and arranging a service at your request relies on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For a general question unrelated to arranging a service, I rely on the legitimate interest of handling correspondence under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

The text field is optional. To respond, I need a working contact and basic details of your request; without them I may be unable to handle the enquiry. No marketing consent or mandatory “GDPR consent” checkbox is required. This website does not subscribe you to a newsletter.

3. Services, records and legal claims

For agreed services, I process necessary contact details, appointments, goals, the agreed service and ordinary training information to perform the contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. The scope must match the service; health data is subject to the separate requirements below.

I process billing data and records as necessary to meet statutory accounting and tax obligations under Article 6(1)(c) GDPR. I may retain necessary contractual records to establish, exercise or defend legal claims based on legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

4. How long data is retained

Data is not retained indefinitely. Retention depends on purpose and necessity:

  • Unsent website enquiry: until the enquiry window is closed or the page is left or reloaded. Your email draft and device clipboard remain under your control.
  • Enquiry with no subsequent service: until resolved, and no longer than 6 months after the last communication, except records necessary for a specific legal claim.
  • Ordinary service data: for the duration of the service; afterwards, only necessary records for the applicable limitation period and, in a dispute, until its final resolution.
  • Accounting and tax records: for the statutory period applicable to that record. This does not justify retaining an entire enquiry or all training correspondence.
  • Technical service logs: according to the needs of content delivery, security and incident handling, and the hosting providers’ retention rules. Details of their processing and safeguards are available through the links below or by contacting me.

5. Health data and lactate testing

Vital Praha retains lactate test results. The KOLEM BĚHU website does not collect or store the results. Before testing, ask Vital Praha directly about how results are processed, how long they are retained and how to exercise your rights.

Do not include diagnoses, medical reports, injuries, medication or lactate test results in an initial enquiry. This website does not request such information and is not a secure channel for sharing it. Your service choice, goal and availability are enough for initial contact.

Information revealing health, including relevant test results, is special-category data. A contract or an enquiry alone does not authorise its processing. Before it is collected, the controller, purpose, scope, recipients, retention, secure transfer method and an Article 9 GDPR condition must be established separately. If explicit consent is used, it must be separate and withdrawable. This page does not collect that consent.

The Vital Praha price-list link does not itself share your enquiry or test results. Results are not automatically shared with me through this website. Any sharing between the coach and a testing provider requires prior information and an appropriate legal basis.

6. Cookies and website operation

The running calculator works with distance, time and pace only in browser memory. It requires no name or contact, sends nothing and does not use browser storage. Leaving or reloading the page restores the default example.

The website has no advertising pixels, visitor analytics, embedded maps or Instagram posts. Its images and fonts do not require requests to advertising or social services. The website’s own code does not set cookies or store data in browser storage.

The hosting infrastructure uses Cloudflare’s __cf_bm security cookie to detect automated requests and protect website availability. It is necessary for this protection, rather than marketing; Cloudflare states that it expires after 30 minutes of continuous inactivity. You can delete or block it in your browser, which may affect access. Necessary technical cookies do not require consent under section 89(3) of Czech Act No. 127/2005 Coll., so there is no cookie consent banner here.

When the website loads, the hosting and security infrastructure may process your IP address, time, requested URL, browser details and technical error data. This supports content delivery, abuse prevention and troubleshooting. The basis for necessary operation and security is legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. This is not marketing profiling.

7. Recipients and transfers outside the EEA

Technical providers may access data as necessary: OpenAI Sites for hosting, Cloudflare for delivery and security, and Google/Gmail for email. Your own email provider also processes messages you send. Necessary records may be received by accounting or legal advisers and public authorities where required by law or to protect a legal claim. I do not sell your data.

International providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, particularly in the United States. OpenAI describes adequacy decisions and standard contractual clauses; Google describes, among other safeguards, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. Cloudflare explains international processing and safeguards in its policies. You can request details and copies of applicable safeguards from me or using the provider’s process. Data is not represented as being stored exclusively in the EU.

8. External links

Google Maps, Instagram, Vital Praha, race organisers and race calendars are ordinary links. Their content does not load automatically on this website. After clicking, you interact with their operators under their own privacy and cookie rules; they may receive your IP address and browser details. This website does not send the source page URL in the Referer header when you follow a link.

9. Your rights and how to exercise them

Subject to GDPR conditions, you may access and obtain a copy of your data, request correction, erasure or restriction. Data portability applies to automated processing based on contract or consent. You may object to legitimate-interest processing on grounds relating to your situation. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Send your request to marekoliva@gmail.com or the controller’s postal address. I will respond without undue delay and within one month. Where the GDPR permits, this may be extended by two further months; I will explain the reasons within the first month. Requests are generally free. If there are reasonable doubts, I may ask for proportionate identity verification.

You may complain to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ), Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, Czech Republic, or another competent supervisory authority. You do not need my permission to complain.

This website does not use automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects under Article 22 GDPR or marketing profiling. I handle service arrangements and appointments personally.

10. Updates

This version takes effect on 15 October 2026. If processing purposes or methods change, this information must be updated before the new processing starts. Any future optional tracking may only be activated after separate valid consent.

Start with your goal.

Choose a service and briefly describe what you need. The button below opens a prepared message in your email app. Review and send the message yourself. Your session is booked only once I confirm it.

Your goal and availability are enough. Do not include diagnoses, medical documents or test results. The website does not submit the text or store it on a server. It clears the text when you close the enquiry window.
